Wonders of Life-peregrination

“Some people come in your life as blessings, others come as lessons “.

I have come across this quote and always wondered, why is that we meet certain people who hold a special place in our heart but are not destined to be in our life forever. They come into our life-like a zephyr, but before we could realize anything, the Zephyr takes the shape of a storm in the relationship, and they leave us bewildered, with the question ‘why did we meet? ‘

I believe that there is a reason for everything that happens in our life. Some of the actions might take years to understand, while other actions might keep us wondering throughout our lifetime.

I think we meet people for a purpose, and as soon as the purpose ends they leave us or we leave them.
Our life is a voyage and we all have our various destinations. In that quest to our destination, we meet other “soul-passengers”, who we befriend. If they are not destined to reach the same destination, they leave us to our solo journey. In that process, we come across many people who walk into our life as a conveyor of motivation. Their purpose is to show us that path which would help us to sail to our ultimate destination.

Every child is born with his or her destiny and in that journey to reach that destination we meet different people. Some “soul-passengers” come to motivate us while some come to discourage. Those who encourage us are our blessings and those who de-motivate us are our lessons.

We need to keep sailing, no matter what, as life is nothing but beautiful.

  2. You have a truly remarkable understanding of love, loss, and acceptance. You so effortlessly exorcise attachment in this piece with the deceptively simple notion that people come and go from our lives, as passengers, based on a specific purpose that is meant to be achieved. Beautiful.
